Leeds United have confirmed that Italian winger Willy Gnonto has penned a new contract at Elland Road, putting an end to speculation linking him with a move away from the club.
The Italian was already under contract until 2027, but has signed a new deal to keep him at the club for a further 12 months after a summer which had seen him touted as a potential departure from Elland Road.
He has started all three games this season, grabbing one goal in the process, and his form will be key to any hopes Leeds have of promotion come the end of the campaign.
