2-year-old found safe after going missing in Ford Explorer stolen in Knoxville

UPDATE: Elton Bailey was found in Knoxville and is safe, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation reported about two hours after issuing the alert.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 3-year-old boy who was in a 2002 gold Ford Explorer when it was stolen in Knoxville, the Knoxville Police Department said. The Tennessee license plate is 859 BBGN.

Elton Bailey was last seen wearing a gray shirt and pants, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. He weighs 35 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.
