VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) President and Vijayawada MP Keshineni Sivanath (Chinni) met with Governor S. Abdul Nazir at the Governor’s bungalow on Saturday to discuss the development of cricket infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh.
Representing the ACA, Chinni presented a formal petition to the Governor, requesting permission to develop cricket grounds at various universities across the state.
During the meeting, MP Chinni outlined ACA’s initiatives and strategic plans to enhance cricket facilities and promote the sport at the grassroots level.
The ACA’s proposal aims to bring high-quality cricket grounds to campuses, thereby providing students with better opportunities to engage in sports and develop their cricketing skills.
Governor S. Abdul Nazir responded positively to the request, acknowledging the potential benefits of fostering cricket development within educational institutions.
The meeting was also attended by ACA Secretary Sana Satish and Treasurer Dandamudi Srinivas, who supported the President’s petition for infrastructure improvements.
