If form were to decide this WSL Merseyside derby, Liverpool would’ve walked the win at Goodison Park.
The Toffees had managed just one win during the entire season before the match kicked off.
Yet they found themselves a goal to the good against the run of play, but Liverpool were extremely unhappy to say the least as the penalty awarded was a controversial one.

Replays showed that Honoka Hayashi was outside of the box when she was fouled, and with no VAR in the league, the decision stood.
