Duval County: Multiple shots fired, residents urged to lock down in homes

Multiple shots were fired at a Wendys in Duval County.

JSO confirmed that officers responded to a shooting at a Wendys located on the 9000 block of New Kings Road. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The victim appeared to meet up with one of the suspects, andhile parked an additional suspect appears and the shooting occurs. The suspects then fled the area in a white Kia sedan northbound on US-1 towards Nassau County.

The suspects fled the vehicle, but are still at large.

First suspect is a black male wearing a beige hoodie and black pants. Second suspect is described as a black male wearing a black hoodie and orange pants. Third suspect is wearing a camouflage hoodie with black pants.

Multiple businesses around the area have closed for the day.
