LCSO: Man dies at Marpan Recycling Center, ruled accidental for now

Date:

A man died Monday morning at the Marpan Recycling Center along Woodville Highway.

The Leon County Sheriff’s Office said the man was not an employee but was using the center’s services when an accident occurred around 10 a.m. outside the facility. It involved machinery there.

The death at this time “looks to be accidental,” LCSO said.

The law enforcement agency didn’t have any details about the type of machinery involved in the accident as of Monday afternoon.
