2 men injured in shooting at East El Paso bar

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Two men were transported to a local hospital with injuries after a shooting at a bar early on New Year’s Day in East El Paso, according to the El Paso Police Department.

According to the department, the shooting happened around 12:45 a.m. on Jan. 1 at Shorty’s Sports Bar and Grill, located at 9100 Viscount Blvd.

Two men were transported with injuries. Police did not say how badly injured the men were.

Police did not say how old they were, identifying them as “adult males.”
