BOYS

Class AA

• (No. 5, Class AA) Billings Skyview 67, (Class A) Billings Central 64: It was neck-and-neck until the final stanza, when the Falcons erupted on a 27-15 run to overtake the Rams and notch their fourth win against a single loss. Zakai Owens (24) and Tayshaun Williams (19) carried the Falcons, with Merek Fisher adding nine points. Toby Stewart led four players in double figures for Central with 15 points. Tyton Larsen was right behind with 14 points, Gunnar Larsen netted 12 and Will Snell 10. Howie Martin added eight points.

• Missoula Sentinel 58, Great Falls 28: Lincoln Rogers drained 20 points, Carson Towe and freshman Beau O’Reilly netted 14 points apiece, and the Spartans evened their record at 2-2. No stats were reported for Great Falls.

• Butte 62, Butte Central 51: The Bulldogs (4-1) earned the crosstown win against the Class A Maroons (0-4) at the Butte Civic Center. Hudson Luedtke led all scorers with 24 and Dylan Bache had 18 as the duo led the Bulldogs. Owen McPartland chipped in 21 to lead the Maroons as Joshua Sutton added 16. 

Class A

• Browning 62, East Helena 60: Jude Reevis hit for 13 points, Josh Skunkcap had his back with 12, and the Runnin’ Indians, who trailed for three quarters, took off on a 19-8 rally in the final stanza to overtake the Vigilantes. Royce Mad contributed eight points, and Noah Butterfly and Tristan Crawford supplied six points apiece. Slade Olson and DeonDray Ellis rang up 16 points apiece for the 2-5 Vigilantes, with Avery Hager knocking down 12 points.

• Miles City 79, Hardin 52: Rylin Gentry scored 21 points and four players reached double figures for the Cowboys, who improved to 4-3. Kordt Smith hit for 19 points, Bridger Muri 12 and Jace Erienbusch 10. Jared Killsback dropped 13 points for the Bulldogs, with Skyler Real Bird netting 10 and Lexyn Bouyer nine. Vance Takes Enemy Jr. contributed eight points.   

• Glendive 64, No. 2 Lockwood 63 (OT): Ethan Rivas brought the high-flying Lions back to earth with a monster effort, pouring in 30 points. Cy Eaton added 10 points and Carter Amsler eight. The Red Devils (5-2) trailed by five at intermission but outscored the Lions 32-27 in the second half, then eked out the win 8-7 in overtime. It was Lockwood’s first loss of the season. Kobe Blake dropped 18 points for Lockwood, with Nate Davis scoring 14 and Zicciah Callison-Blake ringing up 13.

Class B

• Harlem 51, Fairview 43: Lance Morgan hit for 15 points, Matt Billmayer came up with 12 and Cody McCabe tallied 10 for the Wildcats (5-2) as they got past the Warriors in a game that was close all the way. Tyler Loan paced Fairview with 12 points, Gabe Callender scored 11 and Troy Karst chipped in with six points.

• Joliet 74, Roundup 17: Colton Woodard and Carter Williams knocked down 12 points apiece, and Kaden Juhnke and Aidon Songstad came through with 10 points each, with Kasen Krook adding nine points and Jake Cook eight. No stats were reported for Roundup.

• Florence-Carlton 67, Anaconda 46: Brody Duchien rang up 16 points and Mose Smith was right behind with 15 as the Falcons evened their record at 3-3. Bridger Alexander tallied 13 points and Jake Schneiter hit for 10. No stats were reported for Anaconda.

• Malta 74, Roy-Winifred 54: The Class B Mustangs didn’t waste any time with the Class C Red Raiders,blasting out to a 29-13 lead in the opening quarter. The big guns were blazing — Bohdi Brendan hit for 25 points, Treyton Wilke 20 and Stockton Oxarart 16. Wyatt Wickens rang up 25 points for R-W, and Kellen Heggem tallied 15.

• No. 9 Lone Peak 47, Ennis 40: Once again it was Isaac Bedway doing the heavy work, draining 19 points, with Ryan Malinowski scoring nine and Ebe Grabow eight. Riley Reynolds led the Mustangs with 12 points. Malachi Lewis and Brandon Foss tallied eight points apiece.

• Thompson Falls 69, Deer Lodge 58: Bryson LeCoure shot the lights out, dropping 26 points, Braedon Ferris netted 12 points and Owen Doyle put up 11 for the 4-2 Blue Hawks. Kaiden Robins contributed nine points and Sam Burgess eight. Brody Hunter netted 13 points for the Wardens. Kaiden Beck went for 11 points and Gideon Rubink supplied nine.

• Baker 63, Lame Deer 59: Canden Coulter poured in 20 points for the Spartans, who notched their first win of the season, using a 17-10 rally in the final quarter to get past the Morning Stars (3-3). Gentre Coulter and Caden Barth rang up 10 points apiece, Kane Olsen tallied nine and Cru Schwartz added seven. No stats were reported for Lame Deer.

• No. 6 (Class B) Fairfield 54, No. 4 (Class C) Belt 40: The Class B Eagles stormed to a 35-12 halftime lead, and a big fourth-quarter rally from the Class C Huskies wasn’t enough.

• Red Lodge 80, Park City 44: Mason Tilzey poured in 21 points in a losing effort for the Panthers (1-4). Garett Harper tallied 10 points and Landry Streck chipped in with five. No stats were reported for Red Lodge. 

Class C

 • Dodson 42, Nashua 30: The Coyotes built a 23-15 halftime lead and made it stand up down the stretch to claim their second win of the season. Junior Stiffarm did the heavy lifting, netting 17 points. Sonny Cole scored nine points, and Donovan Posey and Lance Killeagle provided eight apiece. Bubba Pugh and Charlie Kaasa rang up 12 and 11 points to pace the Porcupines.

• No. 5 Scobey 70, Wolf Point 26: John Carney had a lights-out game with 27 points, and Kolten Machart came through with 12 points and Cooper Axtman provided eight as the Spartans cruised to their sixth straight win. No stats were reported for Wolf Point.

• Two Eagle River 75, Victor 30: The Eagles reached 4-4 on the year, racing to a 30-9 lead in the opening quarter. Jamian Adams poured in 20 points to lead four players in double figures. Thomas Addison hit for 18, Talon Addison 15 and Jayian Burke 11.

• Roberts 68, Broadus 43: Thommy Howard went for 18 points, Gus Kosel dropped 13 and Chase MacArthur 12 for the Rockets. Wyatt Hobson chipped in with nine points. Brock Gali scored 11 points to lead the Hawks. Jayce Schroeder and Baylor Kuhbacher tallied nine points apiece. 

• Plevna 45, Richey-Lambert 25: The Cougars improved to 4-3, outscoring the Fusion 25-10 in the second half. Jordan Paul led the way with 13 points, Kaeden Oberlander hit for 11 and Samuel May netted 10. Tristan Buerkle chipped in with six points.

• Divide County N.D. 55, Westby-Grenora 41: The Thunder fell behind early in the first quarter and couldn’t make it up, falling to 2-3 on the year. Dilan Wade came through with 19 points and Draygen Buechler drained 13. Thomas Arnson added seven points.

• Harlowton-Ryegate-Judith Gap 49, Hobson-Moore 40: Kenyan Davis had the hot hand for the Engineers, netting 22 points, and a fourth-quarter rally from the Titans came up short. Chance Pierce added eight points and Phoenix King chipped in with six.

• Culbertson 53, Froid-Lake 37: Bridger Salvevold poured in 19 points, and Mark Kirkaldie and Gavin Deen hit for 10 points apiece to lead the Cowboys past the Redhawks. Brooks Solem added seven points. Rylan Young led all scorers with 22 points for the Redhawks, including six treys. Aaron Orozco chipped in with six points.

• Savage 58, Brockton 38: Zane Pilgeram drained 20 for the Warriors, and Hunter Sanders and Sayer Erickson delivered 13 and 12 points respectively. Tefton Bear paced Brockton with 11 points, and Ronnie Blackdog hit for eight.

• Drummond 65, Charlo 47: Michael James knocked down 23 points, Kadin Graveley netted 15, and eight players reached the scoring column for the Titans as they picked up their first win (1-4). Karson Cox shot the lights out for the Vikings with 28 points; he also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds. Tasker Brown added seven points and seven boards, and Kenyan DuMont contributed six points.

• Winnett-Grass Range 69, Jordan 33: Jace Bantz and Wyatt Melton were a two-man wrecking crew with 22 points apiece, and Danner Hanson netted eight for the Rams, who improved to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in conference action. The Mustangs (2-6) got 13 points from Jayden Saylor, with Koby Saylor adding nine.

• No. 2 Lustre Christian 69, Bainville 12: The Lions used their patented balanced offense, with nine players in the scoring column, led by Joel Redding’s 12 points. Cam Reddig netted 11, Prestyn Klatt 10, and Johnslee Pierre and Hadden Olfert tallied eight apiece. Rowan Wilson scored six points for the Bulldogs.

GIRLS

Class AA

• No. 1 Billlings West 54, Billings Senior 44: The Golden Bears pounded out their fifth straight win, riding a big night from Maisie Heggem-Prinkki (19 points). Reagan Soucy drained 11 points and Brooklyn Pierce hit for eight. Eva Blatchford was high scorer for the Broncs (1-4) with 11 points. Abbilee Runsabove netted 10 points and Timber Egan provided seven.

• No. 5 Butte 58, Butte Central 16: Cadence Graham dropped 16 points, Autumn Clary went for 13 and Brityn Stewart 10 as the Bulldogs roughed up their crosstown Class A rival. Rylee Forbes led the Maroons with eight points.

Class A

• No. 1 Billlings Central 42, Billings Skyview 35: The Rams won their sixth straight on the year, taking charge in the second quarter with a 17-9 run. Kam Reinker and Lyssa Peterson were top scorers with 10 points each, and three more players added five points apiece. Rae Smart and Kiki Lonebear tallied 16 and 15 points for the Class AA Falcons, who slipped to 2-3.

• No. 5 Hardin 57, Miles City 48: The Bulldogs reached 5-1, holding off the Cowgirls with the one-two punch of Kevee Rogers and Karis Brightwings-Pease, who poured in 23 points apiece. No stats were reported for Miles City. 

• No. 3 Lockwood 70, Glendive 21: Tailey Harris (17) and Dani Jordan (16) powered the Lions to their fifth straight win, with Lanee Casterline hitting for 11 points and Kylie Edwards 10.

• Polson 42, Hamilton 38: Rylee Taylor-Jefferson lit up the nets for 19 points and Samantha Rensvold tallied 14 for the Pirates, with Alyesia Black contributing six. Ashlynn McKern led the Broncs with 10 points. Annalise Lewis added seven and Meryn Leonardi added five.

Class B

• No. 9 Florence-Carlton 61, Anaconda 28: Ali Meinhold took care of business for the 5-1 Falcons, dropping 21 points. Emory Ralston hit for 11 points and Kendyl Meinhold netted eight. Meela Mitchell had 11 points to lead the Copperheads (2-1). Rain Daniels provided six points.

• No. 7 Baker 74, Lame Deer 32: Madison O’Connor paced four players in double figures with 19 points as the Spartans cruised past the Morning Stars for their fifth win against a single loss. Avery O’Connor racked up 16 points, Emily Enos finished with 12 and Hope Gonsioroski collected 10. Brittney O’Connor helped the cause with eight points.  

• Red Lodge 56, Park City 50: The Panthers were up 31-20 at halftime before the Rams got going, outscoring Park City 36-19 in the second half. Katie Reimer scored 13 points, and Tayler Metzsch and Tacelyn Christman were double trouble with 10 points apiece. Kinley Bray added nine points and Alyssa Emineth eight. No stats were reported for Park City.

• Fairview 47, Harlem 40 (OT): The Warriors needed overtime to snap a three-game losing streak, winning a wild one. They led 29-15 at intermission, after which the Wildcats got rolling, outscoring Fairview 25-11 in the second half to send the game into OT, which the Warriors won 7-0. Carly Buxbaum took high scoring honors with 15 points, Sophie Sundheim netted 12 and Macy Tjelde eight. Raelynn Briere paced the Wildcats with 14 points. 

• No. 4 Chinook 56, Choteau 25: Rolling to 7-0 on the year, the Beeters leaned on 14 points from Alexus Semour, 12 from Hannah Schoen and 10 from Sidney Liddle. Neva Lowe added six points and Addison Olsen five. No stats were reported for Choteau.

• Roundup 45, Joliet 17: After posting their first victory in at least two seasons on Friday, the Panthers went out and won their second straight. Hallie Hofer poured in 18 points and Annabelle Brown netted 12. Jade Forsman led Joliet with nine points.

• No. 8 Ennis 65, Lone Peak 15: Marisa Snider hit for 17 points, and the Mustangs put eight players in the scoring column as they dispatched the winless Bighorns. Snider had plenty of help, with Reese Dickinson netting 10 points, and Brooke Hoyer and Mikendra Ledgerwood adding nine points apiece. Ally Hilton, Tanaya Hauser and Mikayla Ledgerwood collected six points each.

• No. 2 Missoula Loyola 74, Darby 24: Spencer Laird was unstoppable with 35 points for the Breakers (4-1), who got back on track after losing to Dillon. Caitrin Harrington tallied 17 points and Sammy McHugh six. No stats were reported for Darby (5-1).

Class C

• Nashua 28, Dodson 25: Dyllan Bergstrom scored nine points, with Gracyn Sibley and Katie Dykstra contributing eight points apiece for the Porcupines, who picked up their first win of the season (1-6). Jazlyn KillEagle tallied nine points to lead the winless Coyotes. Precious Stiffarm provided seven points.

• No. 1 Saco-Whitewater-Hinsdale 42, Turner 24: The Mavericks cruised to their eighth straight on the year behind 11 points from Emerson Downing and 10 from Shelbi LaBrie. BaiLee McColly scored eight points. Cassidy Grabofsky scored six points for the Tornadoes (2-5) and Natalie Richaman added five.

• No. 10 Roy-Winifred 48, Malta 40: The Class C Red Raiders and Class B M-ettes were tied at halftime, and just a point separated them until the final frame, when the Raiders outscored Malta 13-6 in crunch time. It was Lyla Ewen’s night to shine, with 22 points. Hannah Ewen hit for 11 points and Claire Wickens contributed seven. No stats were reported for Malta.

• Troy 62, Noxon 39: The Spartans outscored the Red Devils 44-17 in the second half to break away and collect their first win of the season. Kylie Cole did the heavy lifting, draining 18 points, with Aspen Orr netting 12 and Leslie Gravier eight.

• Fort Benton 58, Conrad 30: Ang Reiner led the Longhorns with 20 points, and Addison Reichelt went for 11 points and Lilly Ferris eight. No stats were reported for Conrad.

• Richey-Lambert 59, Plevna 52: The Fusion trailed by eight at intermission, gained a bit of ground in the third, then unleashed a 20-8 rally in the final frame to overtake the Cougars and even their record at 3-3. Keira Rains drained 20 points, with Jolee Klempel hitting for 16 and Brynne Hill nine. Brylee Swarts led all scorers with 22 points for the Cougars (2-5). Callie Hoenke collected 10 points and Keely Heaton added seven.

• Broadus 51, Roberts 37: The Hawks improved to 4-3, going up by 11 points at intermission and holding off the Rockets down the stretch. TJ Chirrick dropped 18 points in a losing effort for Roberts, with Elizabeth Devries netting 12.

• Froid-Lake 59, Culbertson 36: Mara Salvevold shot the lights out with 26 points, and the Redhawks snapped a three-game skid. Isabelle Nordwick contributed eight points and Leah Murray seven. Emma Berwick (10) and Ivy Colvin (8) paced the Cowgirls.

• No. 9 Manhattan Christian 62, No. 8 Shields Valley 47: In an early-season matchup of ranked teams, the Eagles used a 16-6 run after halftime to open a 10-point lead going into the fourth quarter, and went on to collect their fourth straight win. Bella Triemstra was a force, pouring in 24 points. Emily Straatman knocked down 15 points, and Madelyn Skillman and Markelle Johnson netted eight points apiece. Nicki Swandal led the Rebels (6-1) with 12 points. Nora Dominick and Kassidie Rock hit for nine points apiece, and Gaige Taylor scored seven.

• No. 4 Bainville 45, Lustre Christian 27 : The Bulldogs won their sixth in a row, holding the Lions scoreless in the second quarter and closing them out with a 10-3 run in the final frame. Elsie Wilson took care of business, draining 17 points. Addison Hansen hit for seven and Hailey Berwick six. Kencia Brown led the Lions with 13 points, and Lauren Fast netted nine.

• Brockton 50, Savage 38: The Warriors (5-1) bounced back from their lone defeat at Plentywood, getting a big game from Tamryn Bauer, who drained 20 points. Ava Lone Bear hit for 13 and Quintana Young 11.No stats were reported for Savage.

• Thompson Falls 61, Bonners Ferry (ID) 57: Addy Deal knocked down 21 points, Solvieg Nygaard tallied 15 and Gabi Hannum 12 for the Blue Hawks, who notched their second win of the season on the road. The Hawks trailed by five at intermission and seven going into the fourth quarter before igniting on a 27-16 rally to clinch the win. Annalise Fairbank chipped in with seven points and Aubrey Baxter added six.
