Brett King, a 2006 Warren Area High School graduate, has qualified for the 2024 Ironman World Championship on Oct. 26, in Kona, Hawaii. King, who will complete against the top professional and age-group triathletes from around the world, qualified at the Full Texas Ironman in April, completing the 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike and 26.2-mile run in 9 hours, 7 minutes, 2 seconds. King is the son of Ed and Sue King of Warren.
