As the Kentucky Wildcats head into the fall recruiting period with two commitments, another target has taken the next step in his recruitment.
On Saturday, 4-star guard Acaden Lewis announced his top four, which included Kentucky.
Also making the cut were the UConn Huskies, Duke Blue Devils, and North Carolina Tar Heels.
A 6-foot-2, 185-pound product of Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., Lewis is now ranked 55th overall at On3, 32nd at 247 Sports, 28th at ESPN, and 53rd at Rivals. On3 and ESPN consider him a point guard, while 247 labels him a combo guard, and Rivals tabbed him a shooting guard.
As of September 14th, no recruiting predictions have been logged as to where the talented guard will land. Lewis unofficially visited Kentucky in June, which is also when he earned a scholarship offer. The Wildcats’ entire coaching staff was recently in to watch Lewis.
One to watch for.
Kentucky may have Jasper Johnson, but they are still prioritizing five-star PG Acaden Lewis.
The whole UK recruiting staff was in to see Lewis today.
Per his father, “super cool” as the staff came to one of rougher parts of the DMV to visit him. Both sides are still working to… pic.twitter.com/Ed3XOLKzLL
