Person critically injured in southwest Las Vegas hit-and-run

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A hit-and-run crash in the southwest Las Vegas valley left a person with critical injuries Sunday morning.

Around 2:30 a.m., on Sept. 15, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of the hit-and-run crash near the intersection of south Durango Drive and Desert Inn.

According to police, evidence at the scene indicated that an unidentified car heading south on Durango Drive hit a person in the roadway and then left the scene.

The person was taken to a nearby hospital and was last listed in critical condition, police said.
