South Carolina basketball releases full 2024-2025 season women’s schedule

Date:

South Carolina basketball coach Dawn Staley, in a very public way, has been working hard to complete her team’s 2024-2025 schedule. With other teams not too keen on playing the Gamecocks, Staley even took to social media to fill the final game on the docket.

The SEC released the conference schedule several weeks ago, but the slow trickle of news out of Coach Staley’s office for the non-conference schedule continued. On Monday, the news finally stopped. The 2024-2025 season is set for the Gamecocks.

The South Carolina basketball schedule will include two preseason exhibitions, one for charity on the road against the Memphis Tigers and one at home against Clayton State. Both scrimmages will be in October, and the regular season will begin the first week of November. The SEC schedule will begin after New Year’s Day, but the annual rivalry game against the UConn Huskies will interrupt conference play in February.
