Sep. 19—LINTON — The North Daviess Cougars golf team posted a 372 on Wednesday to win the SWIAC at Phil Harris Golf Course in Linton. It was the third straight year ND has taking the SWIAC title.
The Cougars were the only team to break 400 for the day, with Shakamak shooting 410 and Eastern at 421 to round out the top three. Millie Lynn of Linton was the overall winner with an 86.
The Cougars had next three spots as Meah Dalrymple shot 88, Emma Yoder shot 89 and Alivia Dhahir was fourth overall with a 95. Ava Graber shot 100 to tie for sixth, and Allison Knepp took 11th with her 106. The top four Cougars made All-SWIAC, while Knepp was Honorable Mention.
ND enters sectional play on Friday.
