7-Foot-3 Basketball Phenom Dunks ALL OVER Unsuspecting 13-Year-Olds As 7th Grader

Date:

Canada Basketball – Junior Academy

Jeremy Gohier is the tallest player on the floor every time he steps onto a basketball court. The 13-year-old Canadian phenom is already listed at a height of 7-foot-3 as a seventh grader.

He will be one of the top recruits in the country if his current trajectory continues into high school.

Gohier hails from Quebec, much like another freakishly tall Canuck that came before him. Olivier Rioux is the world’s tallest teenager and will begin his freshman season at the University of Florida in November. Whatever is in the water in La Belle Province grows these kids like weeds!

Victor Wembanyama and Zach Edey are the tallest active players in the NBA at 7-foot-4. The former is 20 years old. The latter is 22 years old.

Gohier is seven/nine years younger than Wemby and Edey. He is only one inch shorter!

The height difference between Gohier and his opponents is so extreme that other teams don’t even try to win the jump ball to begin the game. There is no point. To guard him in the paint is a hopeless effort.

Most young players who are as tall as Gohier struggle to control their bodies. They are typically raw in terms of technique. Rarely do they posses a competent post game. A massive frame is enough to win.

Gohier is different. There is always room to grow, literally and figuratively, but he can really hoop!

The height is an added advantage, it is not what makes him successful. Gohier is very coordinated for his age and supplements his interior offense with a saucy mid-range stepback.

Dominant would be an understated word to describe his performance at the MSHTV Camp in Indiana last week.

As a Class of 2029 recruit, there is still a very long way to go before Gohier has to even consider a decision on where to play college basketball. He still has to finish middle school!

However, the 7-foot-3 13-year-old recently received one of the Petro-Candada FACE grants to pursue his future on the hardwood. It will allow him to play on the highest level of travel ball at tournaments all over North America in the next two years.

At that point, Jeremy Gohier will likely move to the United States to play for one of the top high school basketball academies, like IMG. Remember the name. He’s next up!
