Ahead of Tuesday’s release of the 2024-2025 Atlantic Coast Conference college basketball schedules, we received a little tease on Monday afternoon.
Both UNC basketball programs will compete against Georgia Tech to begin ACC play this winter.

Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels will host the Yellow Jackets on December 7. That game will tip-off at 2:00 PM at the Dean Smith Center that afternoon.
On the women’s side, Courtney Banghart and the Tar Heels will also play Georgia Tech, a game that will be played eight days later.

Like the men’s game, the women’s game will tip-off at 2:00 PM EST. It will be held at Carmichael Arena, the home of the UNC women’s basketball program.
We got a sneak peek at the ACC schedule before Tuesday’s official release, as we’ll wait and see how the schedule looks for both programs this upcoming season.
What this means is very simple: college basketball season is almost here! Before you know it, we’ll be watching some Tar Heels basketball!
