England goalkeeper Mary Earps and Paris St-Germain suffered a shock exit in the qualifying stages of the Women’s Champions League as they were beaten 5-2 over two legs by Juventus.
Having lost the first leg to the Italian side 3-1 in Turin, last season’s semi-finalists were beaten 2-1 in Thursday’s return fixture at home.

Romee Leuchter levelled from the penalty spot to give the French side hope, but Barbara Bonansea headed past Earps from a corner in the 72nd minute to put the tie to bed.
Earps arrived at PSG from Manchester United in the summer and told BBC Sport she joined the club because she wanted to “win more silverware”.
Their early exit is unchartered territory for Fabrice Abriel’s side, who have reached at least the quarter-finals of the competition in each of the past five seasons.
Juventus have qualified for the group stages for the first time since the 2022-23 campaign after losing to Eintracht Frankfurt in qualifying last season.
