Canucks Pettersson & Miller Ranked By Sportsnet As Top 25 Players Heading Into The 2024-25 Season

With the 2024-25 regular season just a few weeks away, many outlets are releasing their player rankings for the upcoming year. One of those outlets is Sportsnet, which is in the process of releasing its top 50 players. Recently, they published their rankings of the top 21-30 players, with two Vancouver Canucks featuring in the top 25.

The higher of the two players was J.T. Miller, who came in at 23. Miller is coming off his first 100-point season and should be able to reach the milestone again this year. Last season, Miller also received a first-place Selke Trophy vote while finishing 11th for the Hart Trophy.

The other play mentioned in the list is Elias Pettersson, who was ranked 25th. Pettersson is coming off an 89-point season, and thanks to the addition of Jake DeBrusk on his wing, he will be in contention for a 100-point season in 2024-25. This season could also feature multiple Pettersson, including his 200th goal, 250th assist and 500th point.
