Date:

Team news for this weekend’s Scottish Premiership matches.

Kick-off Saturday 15:00 BST unless stated.

Dundee v Aberdeen

Dundee’s Jordan McGhee drops out with a calf injury, but fellow defender Clark Robertson, new midfield signing Scott Fraser and forward Charlie Reilly are in contention.

Joe Shaughnessy remains a long-term absentee.

Aberdeen could have forward Duk in their match-day squad for the first time this season, but midfielder Dante Polvara remains sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Heart of Midlothian v Ross County

Hearts right-back Gerald Taylor is facing a long-term lay-off with suspected ACL damage, so 19-year-old Adam Forrester is set to be promoted to the squad.

Centre-half Frankie Kent returns after an ankle injury, but midfielder Calem Nieuwenhof is still out.

Ross County will be without defenders George Harmon, Ricki Lamie and Josh Reid, who is still recovering from a heavy knock.

Kilmarnock v Dundee United

Kilmarnock defender Joe Wright begins a three-match ban, but midfielders Liam Donnelly and Brad Lyons return.

Kyle Magennis is still working his way back from a long-term absence.

Dundee United are only missing right-back Ryan Strain.

Motherwell v St Mirren

Motherwell’s Stephen O’Donnell is set to miss out with a shoulder injury, while fellow defenders Johnny Koutroumbis and Shane Blaney are edging closer to comebacks.

Callum Slattery, Sam Nicholson, Harry Paton, Ross Callachan and Jack Vale are long-term absentees.

Defender Shaun Rooney drops out for St Mirren after being suspended by the club following an assault charge.

Full-back Elvis Bwomono and forwards Greg Kiltie and Kevin van Veen all played 70 minutes in a bounce game this week as they push for inclusion.

However, Conor McMenamin and Alex Iacovitti remain out long term.

St Johnstone v Celtic (Sat, 17:45)

St Johnstone remain without the suspended Benjamin Kimpioka and Adama Sidibeh, while fellow striker Uche Ikpeazu and centre-half Sam McClelland are still absent.

Centre-half Cameron Carter-Vickers remains out for Celtic with a toe injury, but right-back Alistair Johnston returns.

Rangers v Hibernian (Sun, 12:00)

Rangers left-back Jefte returns from suspension and striker Hamza Igamane is available after red tape prevented him from being involved against Malmo in the Europa League on Thursday.

Danilo, Oscar Cortes, Rabbi Matondo and Ridvan Yilmaz remain out.

Hibernian are set to include recent striker signing Dwight Gayle for the first time.

Captain Joe Newell and winger Martin Boyle are both doubtful, while striker Kieron Bowie is out along with midfielder Jake Doyle-Hayes, who is still working on his fitness after more than a year out.
