A woman stole a cart full of merchandise from Miner’s Ace Hardware in San Luis Obispo on Friday, the San Luis Obispo Police Department said.

Around 5 p.m. Friday, the woman filled a cart with products from the Santa Barbara Avenue hardware and garden store and left without paying, the Police Department said in a Facebook post.

She then loaded the items into the trunk of a white car and fled the scene, police said.

An eyewitness captured photos of the woman packing her car with the allegedly stolen merchandise and fleeing the scene, the department said.
