A bit with Yahoo Sports, hanging out with NFL superstar Ayan Hutchinson joining us on behalf of State Farm.

We’ll get to it in a minute because I’m curious about dancing and football.

I love it.

The Lions were the America’s team last year.

Does it feel different this year?

Knowing this season you just came off of and the expectations that are now there?

For sure, for sure.

I think the mindset is a little bit different, you know, I think, uh, you know, whatever team we play, they’re gonna give us their, their best shot because we are kind of seen as, as one of the top teams in the NFL now.

And, uh, but I think we’re ready for it, you know, I think we have the guys who we all want to compete.

You know, we, we had a lot of young guys younger, I mean, like 334 years in the league and we who are kind of cornerstones of this team and we, we all want to compete and get better and, uh, and win as much as we can.

It’s interesting though because it wasn’t that way when you got there, the Lions weren’t the team.

They are.

Now.

How different does it feel today, day in and day out going to work than it did when you first got there?

It’s weird.

It really is weird when I look back at my rookie year at those.

I mean, we started one and six and it felt like every time we got a win it was like, whoa, we got, we did it, you know, and now after we get a win, it’s like, all right, let’s go, guys.

That’s another one.

Let’s keep going.

You know, it’s just, it’s natural though.

That that’s what happens when you uh kind of change the culture around a team and uh and the expectations change, tell everybody what you’ve been doing.

Yeah.

So I’ve uh I’ve had a great collab, great, easy collab with State Farm and they’re all about uh putting a spotlight on unexpected bundling like home and auto.

And so that was, it’s a great collab because, you know, I put a bundle with uh with dance and football.

You know, I, I might, when I’m rushing the quarterback, I might hit a little spin move, uh something I learned many years ago and uh and then when I get the sack, I might, you know, hit a little san your leg or hit a little dance right after.

So I think the way I bundle um dance with football, it’s like how state farm bundles home and auto.

Look, I love all.

I love the swagger with which you describe it.

Also the move.

I appreciate your time.

Uh Congratulations on a great career so far.

I can’t wait to watch you guys this year.

Keep kicking butt.

Thanks for joining us.

Thanks, Jason.

Appreciate it.
