Philadelphia Flyers Send 10 Players To Lehigh Valley Phantoms

The Philadelphia Flyers announced they have assigned 10 players to their AHL affiliate Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

They also placed forwards Olle Lycksell and Anthony Richard on waivers for the purposes of assigning them to the AHL.

Forwards Rodrigo Abols, Oskar Eklind, Samu Tuomaala, and Cooper Marody, defensemen, Emil Andrae, Adam Ginning, Helge Grans, and Hunter McDonald, as well as goaltenders Aleksei Kolosov and Cal Petersen were sent down.

Marody lead the team in scoring last season with 56 points in 68 games, while Tuomaala and Lycksell were third and fourth respectively. Andrae lead Phantoms defenders with 32 points in 61 games.

All of the players who were sent down except for Richard played at least two games for the Phantoms last season.

The Phantoms open their season on Oct. 12 against the Hartford Wolf Pack.
