IND vs BAN Live Score, 1st T20: Arshdeep Singh Double Strikes Leaves Bangladesh In Trouble

Date:

IND vs BAN 1st T20 Live Score: After whitewashing Bangladesh 2-0 in the Test series, India will aim to repeat the feat in the T20I series which starts tonight at the Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior. This will be the first-ever international match at the newly built venue and mark the return of international cricket to the city after 14 years.

The match will mark Suryakumar Yadav’s first match leading the team on home soil after his appointment as the full-time T20I captain in July this year. This is also the first time Men in Blue are playing a T20I in India since winning the 2024 T20 World Cup. India are without several first-choice players like Jasprit Bumrah, Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, and Mohammed Siraj after the BCCI decided to not select any Test players team in the squad for the T20I series.

Bangladesh have beaten India in a T20I only once and will look to improve their head-to-head record. India have won 13 of the 14 T20Is these teams have played.

India could have as many as three debutants in their playing XI, with Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harshit Rana, and Mayank Yadav in the squad.

Toss: The toss will take place at 6:30 PM IST

Weather Report: There is no chance of rain. The city will see a maximum temperature of 35° C and minimum of 24° C.

Pitch Report: The ground is a new venue with little to no cricket played on it. Hence, the pitch remains a mystery.
