Les Bleus dress to impress during October’s international break

When you think of fire football fits, it’s hard not to look towards Didier Deschamps’ France national team.

Another international break may pause club fixtures for now, but it does give us the chance to see our favourite stars in their most natural element. With that comes the return of their international arrivals, and more importantly the outfits they don to make a statement as they arrive at their camps.

Les Bleus set the tone for style across the football world. Without further ado, here are 90min’s favourite France outfits from the start of the October international break.

Jules Kounde

Let’s start with the king of fashion himself, Barcelona’s Jules Kounde. This man simply never misses when it comes to style, setting the tone for the rest of his French counterparts.

He arrived at France’s latest camp in a bold, sleek trench coat, batting the rain away while refusing to let the elements cramp his style. It was, as always, an iconic look from the right-back, who made noise with his outfit after making headlines for his lack of punctuality at the Barca camp.

Fashionably late, we’d say.

Ibrahima Konate

Ibrahima Konate, the man that you are. This is how you make a statement entrance, garnering the attention of press everywhere and shocking his teammates with his unique arrival.

The Liverpool star rocked up to Clairefontaine in a classic suit with a neon yellow hoodie. If his confidence and assurance didn’t reveal his identity before, Konate made sure to mark his entrance by zipping down his hood before posing for cameras.

His brave choice has prompted a comical response from his Anfield teammates back home too, who flooded the comment sections of social media with their thoughts.

Bradley Barcola

Classy, unique, stylish – Bradley Barcola has wowed with his national team arrival outfit. This winger is literally taking the football world by storm, and now he’s coming for every model’s job too. Unstoppable.

Styling an iconic French beret and a full denim outfit, Barcola honoured his roots in the most beautiful way, returning to his home nation ready for a successful international break.

He bagged the fastest goal in UEFA Nations League history back in September, now he’s ready to break even more records and capture everyone’s attention.

William Saliba

Arsenal man William Saliba stepped out in this classic Nike look, and we certainly rate his commitment to the brand.

The impenetrable defender took some time away from the pitch to show us his wardrobe, offering an outfit that had fans begging for more. Back home, his club excel in the fashion world. On international duty, Les Bleus constantly step out in some of the best drip in the game.

We like it, Saliba. A man who knows a thing or two about minimalism.

Michael Olise

It’s been an intense few months for former Crystal Palace man Michael Olise. He may have swapped the Premier League for the Bundesliga, but some things never change, including his ability to put together a stunning outfit.

A leather-look jacket and classic baggy jeans accompanied with a black bag, Olise knows what works and he manages to style it out every time.

You’re certainly missed at Palace, Olise, but your presence is forever recognised.

Marcus Thuram

Okay, no one warned us that Marcus Thuram was going to arrive at France’s camp in one of the best outfits the nation has ever seen.

A Louis Vuitton jacket and Prada sunglasses, this man pulled out all the stops to make his grand arrival. Is it the Terminator? Is it Blade? No, it’s Inter star Thuram ready to take the international break by storm.

All that time in Milan has done wonders for his fashion.

Theo Hernandez

Layers, layers, layers. Theo Hernandez has delivered a masterclass in autumn styling, repping stylish brands while taking a seasonal approach to his outfit choice.

Paring a baggy jacket with an oversized hoodie before finishing off his style with a classic, black cap – AC Milan star Hernandez brought the vibe as he strolled towards the France camp.

This is how you dress up a classic, warm look – Kudos!

Warren Zaire-Emery

Pair Warren Zaire-Emery’s knitwear collection with a warm cup of tea and you have the most ideal autumn outfit – we love it.

Simplicity is sometimes key, and this Paris Saint-Germain star wasted no time in swapping the t-shirts and shorts for cosy knitwear that maintains its allure all season long.

It’s a win for Zaire-Emery. We hope he’s packed some pumpkin-spiced candles in his training bag too.
