Roma are said to be growing optimistic with regards to the successful contract renewal of Nicola Zalewski.
After an internal dispute with the club due to his refusal to join Galatasaray in the summer, Zalewski is now reportedly nearing an agreement with the club to extend his expiring deal.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, there is optimism at Trigoria that an agreement can be reached soon.
However, Italian media seem to agree that the player is also tempted by the prospect of signing with other Italian clubs on a free transfer.
According to Leggo, Zalewski could still leave Roma in January.
