Anastasia Warren ’23 Signs with Manchester Basketball – Stony Brook University Athletics

MANCHESTER, Canada – After a highly decorated career with Stony Brook women’s basketball, Herlev BMS, and Pollitas de Isabela, Stony Brook women’s basketball alumna Anastasia Warren has signed with Manchester Basketball and starts the 2024-25 season today, Oct. 12.

This past summer, Warren appeared in 10 games for Pollitas de Isabela of the BSNF in Puerto Rico. She averaged 36.0 minutes on the hardwood, while scoring 16.3 points per game, shooting 50.9% from the field, grabbing 3.0 rebounds and dishing out 5.8 assists per game.

Along with Pollitas de Isabela, Warren was a member of Herlev BMS in Denmark during the 2023-24 season. She played in 14 games for the Wolfpack, averaging 17.1 points per game, shooting 55.5% from the field, grabbing 4.2 boards and adding 2.8 assists.

 

At Stony Brook, Warren made her mark through five seasons with the program and placed herself all over the record book. She is the all-time leading 3-point shooter for the Seawolves with 222 career made 3’s on 625 attempts. She finished top 10 in games started/ played and field goals made/ attempted. She is amongst the program’s 1,000-point scorers after totaling 1,453 points throughout her career. Warren was also named to the America East All-Rookie Team, two-time America East Third Team, MVP of 2021 America East Championship and All-Championship Team, America East First Team, All-Met Third Team, and All-CAA First Team.

League play began today for Warren and Manchester Basketball as they took on the Nottingham Wildcats.
