, the film reveals his unique talent for capturing the essence of real lives, establishing him as a rising force in documentary storytelling. The film is about one day each year, regional stockmen, far flung locals and grey nomads gather to play cricket in the most unusual setting in the Australian Outback, ensuring an abandoned town’s legacy endures.

“Inspired by a single photo of a cricket match in Kashmir’s Shopian region, I became captivated by the stories, culture, and people behind it. This curiosity led me to uncover an equally unusual match in Farina, an abandoned Australian outback town. My concept for a series celebrates how cricket unites communities through real stories and shared connections,”
