Bayern Munich Join Race for €70M-Rated Barcelona, PSG Transfer Target

Loïc Tanzi of L’Équipe reported this week that Paris Saint-Germain are among several clubs monitoring Viktor Gyökeres as a potential transfer target for the summer of 2025. PSG’s sporting advisor, Luís Campos, is said to have already reached out to the forward’s representatives.

However, Le Parisien suggests that Gyökeres is no longer a top priority for PSG. Manager Luis Enrique is reportedly concerned about the high transfer fee, which is estimated to be between €75 million and €100 million. Inside the club, there’s growing apprehension that such a price could prove risky.

Meanwhile, Gyökeres has also caught the attention of Barcelona. A Bola reports that Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, has initiated talks with Sporting Lisbon regarding a possible move for the Swedish forward.

Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported on Friday that Bayern Munich have shown interest in Viktor Gyökeres, gathering some information about him, though they haven’t taken any further steps yet.

In recent weeks, nearly all top European clubs have made similar inquiries and are keeping an eye on him as well. Bayern Munich plans to keep monitoring his situation closely. The 26-year-old striker is expected to leave Sporting by summer at the latest, with a transfer fee set between €60 million and €70 million.

This season, Gyökeres has scored 23 goals while recording four assists in 17 appearances across all competitions.
