Motive of murder
Answering a question about the motive of the murder, the DCP stated that there was a lot of dissatisfaction among the parents regarding the child’s behaviour, and his performance in school.
“There was a lot of clash between the child and the parent over excessive use of mobile phone, the child not attending school regularly, and the child not showing any interest in studies. As well as staying out late with his friends,” the police officer said.
Speaking of the reason for the clash on the day of the incident, DCP Lokesh said, “The child’s phone was not working, and he was requesting his parents to get it repaired. Amidst the verbal altercation, the father used the nearby available bat to assault the child.”
The police further revealed that the child had multiple injuries on the back and head.
