Bucs rule out Cade Otton, Antonine Winfield, Sterling Shepard

Date:

Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles ruled three players out of Sunday’s game against the Panthers when he spoke to reporters at a Friday press conference.

Bowles announced that tight end Cade Otton, safety Antoine Winfield Jr., and wide receiver Sterling Shepard will all miss the matchup. The Buccaneers need a win to assure themselves a chance of remaining in the playoff hun heading into the final week of the regular season.

Otton will miss his second straight game with an MCL sprain. Payne Durham saw an uptick in playing time last week and is line for another one against Carolina.

Winfield will miss his third straight game with a foot injury while Shepherd injured his hamstring in last weekend’s loss to the Cowboys.
