Yahoo Sports fantasy analyst Dalton Del Don checks in on the Chiefs tight end and his outlook for Week 3 Sunday night matchup against the Falcons.
Video Transcript
Can Travis Kelsey bounce back.
Kelsey has already matched his number of games with fewer than 70 Pan Fantasy points than he had all of last season.
He caught fewer than three passes last week for the first time since Patrick Mahomes second career start.
Rashi Rice has clearly emerged as Kansas City’s top pass catcher.
He turns 35 years old next month.
So fantasy managers are clearly panicking.
But on the positive side, Kelsey had a 41 yard catch called back by penalty last week, he was tackled at the one yard line.
He is coming off a couple of tougher matchups.
Marquise Brown is out for the season.
Isaiah Pacheco might be too and we all love Xavier worthy.
He’s a big play threat but he is not commanding targets as a rookie.
Thanks in large part to huge left tackle problem.
Mahome sports the lowest a.in the league.
So I think Kelsey is gonna be busy Sunday, uh tonight against a past past fun.
Atlanta defense.
There’s clear concern given his age, I get it but I still rank.
Kelsey is a top three fantasy tight end this week especially, you know, given the what the position is doing throughout the rest of the league this year.
