There’s this one that calls Connecticut the “Foodie Capital of New England”:

There’s another one that calls it the “Basketball Capital of the World”:

There’s this one that says it’s the “Home of the Submarine Capital of the World”:

But the one that is causing the greatest stir is this one:

Yeah, the “Pizza Capital of the United States.”

People had a lot to say about that one!

“As if we needed more cause to forcibly remove Connecticut from New England,” this person said.

But no one is quite as furious as the state of New Jersey, the self-proclaimed “PIZZA CAPITAL OF THE WORLD.”

Twitter: @NJGov

The official New Jersey X account asked Secretary of Transporation Pete Buttigieg if it was “legal to lie on road signs.”

Twitter: @NJGov

The governor of New Jersey said, “You’re not even the pizza capital of the tri-state area.”

Twitter: @GovMurphy

As this person said, “Ohh the government is arguing.”

It appears the “Pizza Wars” have begun.
