Cowboys place CB Trevon Diggs on IR, sign CB Andrew Booth to active roster

Date:

The Cowboys moved cornerback Trevon Diggs to injured reserve Saturday, the team announced.

Diggs is out for the season with a left knee injury that will require a bone graft to repair the cartilage damage. He is expected to miss much if not all of the 2025 season.

The Cowboys signed cornerback Andrew Booth from the practice squad in a corresponding move.

Booth is out of elevations, so the team had to sign him to the 53-palyer roster for him to play.

He has played four games, with one start, and has seen action on 60 defensive snaps and 32 on special teams. Booth has nine tackles.

The Cowboys also announced the elevations of offensive lineman Dakoda Shepley and linebacker Darius Harris from the practice squad for the game against the Texans. Harris will help fill in after the loss of DeMarvion Overshown to a season-ending injury.
