Pakistan cricket ‘In ICU’ – Rashid Latif makes explosive claim

Former wicketkeeper-batter Rashid Latif did not shy away from voicing his frustrations. In a recent video circulating on social media, Latif likened Pakistan cricket’s current state to being in the “ICU”.

He argued that the team requires expert management, both in terms of technical training and financial oversight, to address the multitude of issues plaguing them.

“Pakistan cricket is currently in the ICU. They will need a professional doctor,” said Rashid Latif.

“They need technically sound professionals to run things, both physically and financially. Trainers and many other things are required. You can see there are many problems, whether it’s on the field or off the field,” he remarked.

Upcoming Challenges for Pakistan

The Pakistani team faces a daunting challenge ahead as they prepare to take on England in a three-match Test series starting October 7 in Multan. England, who defeated Pakistan 3-0 during their last visit in 2022, will present a formidable opponent.

For Pakistan to have any chance of qualifying for the World Test Championship (WTC) final at Lord’s next year, they must turn their fortunes around against a strong English side.
