Daniele De Rossi discusses Roma’s transfer window, talks Koné signing

Date:

Roma boss Daniele De Rossi spoke to Sky Sport on the eve of the match with Juventus.

The Italian technician spoke to the broadcaster about Roma’s transfer business, among other things.

”Overall I think we did well,” said De Rossi.

“Let’s look at Atalanta as an example, it arrived there after years of patience. Gasperini had started badly the first few years and now we talk about him among the strongest coaches in the world but they built their team patiently over time.”

”Koné? He has an important physicality, he has the ability to get out of delicate situations with quality.”

“He comes out with quality and with the ball at his feet, he knows how to do everything. Here he will be able to make the definitive leap in quality. Soon he will also go to the national team, a testament to his qualities”.

Thiago Motta? We were both always there for each other, if I had to choose a player to confide in he was among those, I have great affection for him. He is proving to be up to the challenge, let’s hope they don’t show it tomorrow, but for him I only have affection, I wish him all the best but to get a point below us.”

”Tomorrow’s set-up? Let’s see how the new signings are doing. Today we will better understand which direction to go. There are no alibis, I heard Di Francesco yesterday, it’s not easy to plan a game during the market, let’s see who we will be and how we will be today.”

“I already have 9 out 11 starters in mind for tomorrow.”
