Liverpool are flying under new head coach Arne Slot, who has the Reds sat top in the Premier League.
Slot has solidified Liverpool’s defence, creating a back four that rarely ships chances let alone goals, but he hasn’t snuffed the Reds attacking spark.
Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah have both been in fine form this season and the Colombian has even earned a nomination for the Player of the Month award.
With five goals in seven matches, Diaz is the highest scoring Red in the Premier League this campaign and has rivalled Ryan Gravenberch for the label of Liverpool’s best player so far this season.

Bolivia’s plan to stop Luis Diaz
The Colombian’s red-hot form not only has Premier League defenders worried but has also been playing on the mind of one defender who represents the Bolivian national team.
According to a report from Infobae in Colombia, Diego Medina has already started to think about his upcoming battle with Luis Diaz during the international break.
“A very fast, powerful player, I think he is one of the best dribblers in the world, you have to take precautions and with a good mark we can cover that flank,” Medina told Bolivian press speaking about Diaz.
The defender then admitted that he has been working on the specifics of a plan to stop Diaz for two whole days.
Luis Diaz’s incredible start to the season
Although it may seem like overkill to spend two days planning how to stop the winger, his start to the season warrants such caution.
Diaz has scored six goals and provided one assist for club and country since the start of the season and the winger is also being pushed on by his Liverpool teammate Cody Gakpo, who is waiting for the opportunity to usurp the Colombian in the team.
With lightening fast pace and much improved clinical finishing, Slot has turned Diaz into one of the deadliest wingers in world football and that is a huge part of why Liverpool have had such success under their new head coach.
Bolivia will take on Colombia on 10 October and Liverpool supporters will be watching on with a keen eye to see whether two days straight of planning is enough to keep the Colombian star quiet.
