BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team has released the 2024-25 regular season schedule.

The Titans, who went 27-5 last season, will take the court for the first time under new head coach Thomas Gray Sunday in a Tallahassee Community College Jamboree.

“I am excited to be working with such a great group of young men,” Gray said.

“Getting the job a little later in the offseason made it a challenge to quickly search for the right type of young men that we want at Eastern Florida. Our staff did a tremendous job of quickly identifying and recruiting the student-athletes we have on our team.”

Eastern Florida State College will open the regular season at home Friday, Nov. 1 against Florida Coastal Prep and it will be the first of 10 home games for the Titans.

Following the home opener, they will travel to Idaho for the CSI Battle for the Boot Tournament before returning for two home games in November.

The Citrus Conference opener will be on January 4 when they travel to Florida Southwestern State College. The first home conference match will be on Jan. 8 against St. Petersburg College.

The Titans return four players from last season’s team as starting forward Emondrek Erkins-Ford leads the group after averaging seven points and four rebounds last season.

“I could not be more excited for what is in store for this group this season,” Gray said. They have come to work every day with great attitude and effort. Probably the most impressive thing is how close-knit of a group they have become so quickly. We have a ton of work ahead of us but excited to get it all rolling.”

The state tournament is scheduled to be from March 12-15 at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville.
