Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, has officially opened the doors to its first ‘Emirates World’ travel store in Europe. Located on Cromwell Road in London’s South Kensington, the newly designed retail space is part of a global roll-out plan, with 40 stores expected worldwide. The London store combines state-of-the-art technology, expert travel advice, and immersive experiences to bring Emirates’ signature hospitality closer to customers.

Inaugurated by Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer, alongside His Excellency Mr Mansoor Abdullah Khalfan Juma Abulhoul, UAE Ambassador to the UK, the event was attended by VIPs, corporate clients, and industry partners. Speaking at the opening, Kazim highlighted the store’s unique approach to customer service: “When customers book a flight or holiday, it’s not just a financial transaction, it’s an emotional one, and we’ll be doubling down to deliver a memorable visit for our customers through personalised experiences and immersive displays showcasing the best of our in-flight products. Emirates’ London Travel Store is a testament to our enduring commitment to the UK, a market that has been pivotal to us since our first UK flight 37 years ago. We look forward to welcoming customers and delivering on our ‘Fly Better’ promise as we bring the Emirates brand to life.”

The space includes seven dedicated customer service counters, where expert travel consultants assist with flight bookings, ticketing, and Skywards loyalty programme enquiries. Customers can also make use of self-service technology, such as interactive screens for bookings, or take photos with scenic destination backdrops using the store’s ‘selfie mirror.’

In addition to booking services, the store also offers Emirates Official Store merchandise, including travel accessories, aircraft models, and exclusive branded items such as Wimbledon 2024 towels. This blend of services and experiences creates a one-stop shop for customers looking to explore all that Emirates has to offer.

The London store is a continuation of Emirates’ efforts to reimagine the travel experience and provide customers with a holistic approach to booking flights and holidays. Emirates Holidays, the tour operating arm of the airline, has also launched a new store at the Cottons Centre, with 45 dedicated travel consultants offering expert advice and tailored holiday packages.
