Paulo Dybala is pushing to return to fitness for Roma in next weekend’s Serie A clash with Inter Milan.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that this week’s training will be crucial for the 30-year-old.
Dybala is certainly a key player for Roma.
The Argentine has been a major source of goals, assists, and creativity in the final third for the Giallorossi since joining on a free transfer from Juventus in the summer of 2022.
However, injuries have also been an unfortunate theme of Dybala’s time in the capital.
That had been the case for much of the time that Dybala had been at Juventus. And it has certainly been true of his stint at the Stadio Olimpico.
Dybala has not suffered any particularly major injuries.
However, muscle injuries here and there have tended to rule the former Palermo man out of action for spells.
