Ferrero returns to TFWA World Exhibition with global travel portfolio

Date:

Ferrero Travel Market will return to TFWA World Exhibition this year to reveal its next year focus from across its portfolio of global brands, including Kinder, Tic Tac, Raffaello, Nutella and Ferrero Rocher.

Celebrating its global launch at the event will be the Rocher Iconic Gift tin, a travel retail exclusive SKU, which taps into shoppers’ demand for both premium and gifting products in the market. Created with sustainability at its heart, the tin comes filled with Ferrero Rocher pieces. After use, the tin can be repurposed, with shoppers able to scan a QR code for inspiration in upcycling it to create a beautiful decoration.

All the new innovations in the Ferrero range are crafted in line with shifting demands from consumers in the market, as Ferrero Travel Market continues its mission to create and spread joy by putting needs and desires of travelling shoppers first. To underline this, the company will unveil the latest extension to its popular Tablets range with the debut of a new flavour, which will be presented in a travel retail exclusive format.

Elsewhere, there will be an extension to the company’s Raffaello range, with a new Raffaello 300g tin. This premium and giftable product taps into a key shopper demand and is presented in sustainable packaging which can be repurposed to meet shoppers’ desire to reduce waste in the market.

The globally popular Kinder, Nutella and Tic Tac brands will also have fresh releases which buyers can discover at the show, including new flavours in the Tic Tac range and a brand new travel retail exclusive release from Nutella. The company will also debut new plush at the show, extending its collection to create excitement and engagement for younger travellers. Full details will be revealed in Cannes.

To bring further newness to the Confectionery category, Ferrero will also unveil a new flavour extension in its Kinder line, alongside a complete refresh and restyling for the brand’s popular Kinder Surprise T4x20 Natoons, Kinder Surprise Maxi and Kinder Chocolate products. With 75% of travelling confectionery shoppers making their decisions in-store, and the majority seeking out new products which will seize their attention, Ferrero believes the new refreshed packaging will create an instant impact oh-shelf to drive sales and shopper engagement.

Ferrero Travel Market will continue its innovation in the under-served biscuit category in travel retail. In recent year’s Ferrero Travel Market has driven development in this segment with its popular La Biscotteria concept.

These releases, such as last year’s Kinderini, have been incredibly successful, and have been major drivers of growth across the Ferrero Travel Market business.

This year the company will reveal the next step in this mission, with the release of a new category within this growing market: Premium Delight Biscuits. Combining high-quality products and ingredients from across Belgium, Scotland, England and Denmark, the new category provides a gastronomic experience of only the finest delicacies from across the Fine Biscuits market. Every piece is deeply rooted in tradition and crafted with care according to time-tested recipes.

Ferrero Travel Market General Manager, Sergio Salvagno said: “At Ferrero Travel Market, we are proud to be returning to TFWA World Exhibition on the occasion of its 40th anniversary. As we celebrate this landmark event, we will also be joining our partners in looking to the future. We are pleased to showcase our latest innovations, crafted to help drive engagement and sales across the Biscuits and Confectionery categories, always with the customer front of mind.”
