According to a report by The Athletic, Fulham FC are attempting to secure Olympique Lyonnais’s Ernest Nuamah (20) on a €17.8 million deal plus add-ons with the French side expected to retain a sell-on percentage.
The deal has not been finalised and negotiations between the two clubs are thought to be ongoing. It had been reported a few days ago by L’Équipe that Lyon would be listening to offers of around €30 million for the forward.
Nuamah had spent half of last season on loan at Lyon before the club made his move permanent in July for a fee thought to be in the region of €28.5 million. It was a transfer that could only be made possible this summer after Les Gones had been shackled by the DNCG’s restrictions.
Nuamah also in the sights of Everton and Nottingham
Everton FC and Nottingham Forest had both made enquiries about the forward, while two Saudi Arabian clubs were also said to be looking at the player and have already made contact with his representatives, however, it’s thought that he has ruled out a move to the Gulf State.
