SAN FRANCISCO/Clemson, S.C. — Juniors Anastasiia Lopata and Guillermina Grant earned singles titles as the Georgia women’s tennis team wrapped up competition at the Battle in the Bay Classic and Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic on Sunday.

* #13 Anastasiia Lopata earned the 2024 Battle in the Bay Classic women’s singles title with a walkover against #5 Ange Oby Kajuru (Oklahoma State).
Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic – Day Three
* #75 Guillermina Grant won her third ranked match in as many days, coming back from a set down to knock off #48 Petra Sedlackova (Alabama), 5-7, 6-2, 6-3 to win the singles flight one title.
* #94 Aysegul Mert competed in a hard-fought three-set battle for third place in the flight two singles bracket, but ultimately fell 6(3)-7, 6-3, 6-3 to Sophia Hatton (Clemson).
* Hayden Mulberry made some noise in the flight five singles consolation final, taking a one set lead before ultimately falling 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 to Jana Stojanova (South Carolina).
