Daniele De Rossi’s return to Roma is highly unlikely even in the case of Ivan Juric’s dismissal.
The future of the Croatian technician remains uncertain as Roma seem to be on the look-out for a suitable replacement.
In the meantime, Corriere dello Sport clarifies Roma’s position on the matter of De Rossi’s possible return.
According to the newspaper, Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi met with Lorenzo Pellegrini in recent days and spoke to the captain about the situation the team are in.
When asked about De Rossi, Ghisolfi reiterated that there is no possibility of the former Giallorossi coach returning.
De Rossi is currently in New York, where curiously the Friedkins were also in the last few days, but there are no known contacts between the parties.
