Has Nwaneri become Arsenal’s new ‘Starboy’ after latest PL goal? ✨

Date:

Ethan Nwaneri’s Arsenal career is really taking flight.

Fresh from a first Premier League start, the 17-year-old was handed another in Saturday’s trip to Brighton as Mikel Arteta’s side aimed to close the gap at the top.

It took Nwaneri just 16 minutes to put the Gunners ahead at the Amex with his fifth goal from all competitions and only a second in the top flight.

He also set a club record as Arsenal’s first-ever player to score more than one Premier League goal before celebrating his 18th birthday.

Nwaneri’s emergence has come at a perfect time, too, with fellow Hale End graduate Bukayo Saka facing up to two months on the sidelines through injury.

Has Arteta unearthed another Starboy?
