How to watch Niagara vs. Michigan State – NCAA Men’s Basketball (11/7/24) | Channel, stream, preview

Date:

EAST LANSING — The Michigan State Spartans continue their early-season schedule with a tune-up game prior to taking on one the best teams in the nation next week, as they host the Niagara Purple Eagles.

As the Spartans continue to get another season going under legendary head coach Tom Izzo, they are trying to fine-tune some things leading up to that big matchup with No. 1 Kansas next week. There were plenty of highlights worth mentioning from their season-opening win this past Monday against Monmouth. including Jaden Akins leading the charge with 23 points. The outstanding guard is going to be the focal point for MSU’s attack, and will be relied upon when the team goes up against other top teams in the country, including many from the Big Ten.

Coming out of the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference, this will be the Purple Eagles’ first big game of its non-conference season and the first of two games in the Mitten as they are scheduled to face Detroit Mercy on Sunday. Niagara started the season with a 100-65 win over U.P. school Houghton College.

This will be the first time the Spartans and Purple Eagles have ever met in men’s basketball.
