The man they call the Green Goblin is back in green.
The Jets added a veteran presence to their defensive secondary, signing veteran Jalen Mills to their practice squad, per multiple reports.
A versatile defender who has played outside corner, nickel, and safety, the 30-year-old Mills spent the preseason with the Giants but was ultimately released before the start of the regular season.
Over the course of eight pro seasons, Mills has seven career interceptions and 53 pass break-ups. A seventh-round pick by Philadelphia in 2016, the LSU product was a starting outside corner on the Eagles team that won Super Bowl LII, while Joe Douglas was a member of the front office.
Mills now joins an already talented secondary that features Sauce Gardner, DJ Reed, Michael Carter, Chuck Clark, and Tony Adams.
