Jurgen Klopp set to join ANOTHER project that could ‘ALTER’ football’s landscape

The former Liverpool boss is going to be a busy man in the coming months.

Even though he doesn’t officially join his new role as Red Bull’s head of global football operations until January, Jurgen Klopp will undoubtedly be preparing for what is expected to be a major change for the German.

Klopp has always been someone who has been on the front lines in football. Whether that’s playing on the pitch or coaching from the sidelines.

But in his new role he will taking a completely different approach guiding Salzburg’s football operations from behind the scenes and flexing his prowess in recruitment and strategy.

According to Sports Business, Red Bull are looking to purchase majority stakes in Paris FC alongside LVMH, a luxury goods company.

It is claimed that Red Bull will have 15% of the shares in the football club if the deal goes through.

The report claims that this could ‘alter’ the entire Parisian footballing landscape with the new ownership looking to rival Paris Saint Germain’s hegemony in the region.

Undoubtedly, Klopp in his new role will have a part to play in this blossoming project as well should Red Bull strike an agreement.

Who are Paris FC and how are they connected to Ibrahima Konate?

Despite Paris Saint Germain being the more popular club in France’s capital, Paris FC have solid foundations as well.

In the last decade, the club has developed a lot of elite talent and French international footballers.

One of the club’s most famous academy graduates is Ibrahima Konate but others include Loic Bade, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Manu Kone – who have all been linked with a move to Liverpool in the past.
