ATLANTA — Kansas basketball will have a chance to record another significant victory this season with a matchup Tuesday against Michigan State.
The No. 1 Jayhawks (2-0) are facing a Spartans (2-0) team in the Champions Classic. Head coach Bill Self and company are coming off of a win at home against a ranked UNC squad, and await the challenge MSU head coach Tom Izzo’s program presents. The last time these two sides faced off was during the 2021-22 season, also in the Champions Classic, when Kansas won that matchup.
