Kansas State basketball coach Jerome Tang on loss to Wichita State
Kansas State basketball coach Jerome Tang breaks down the Wildcats’ loss to Wichita State on Saturday night at Koch Arena in Wichita.
MANHATTAN — Kansas State basketball can get a fresh start Monday against Cincinnati in the Big 12 opener for both teams.
The Wildcats (6-5) head into the 6 p.m. game at Bramlage Coliseum on a three-game losing streak, but a victory against No. 17 Cincinnati (10-1) would be monumental given the turnaround it will take for them to reach the NCAA Tournament.
The Wildcats, who are back in Bramlage for the first time since Dec. 1, are coming off an embarrassing 84-65 loss at Wichita State on Dec. 21, a game in which they led by four at halftime.
