Knicks assign Tyler Kolek to Westchester

The Knicks assigned guard Tyler Kolek to Westchester Sunday before the 2024 G League Winter Showcase Cup Finals’ 7:30 p.m. tipoff against the Miami Heat’s Sioux Falls Skyforce. Previously, New York assigned forward Pacôme Dadiet and center Ariel Hukporti to Westchester this past Friday.

Kolek, whom the Knicks selected from Marquette with the No. 34 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft’s second round, has logged 17 games with New York through the 2024-25 season’s first couple of months.

In 112 minutes, he has 46 points on 16-of-38 shooting, including a 10-for-23 clip from long range, while adding 12 rebounds and 11 assists. His per-game averages are 2.7 points, 0.7 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 6.6 minutes.

New York is 18-10 and has won three games in a row entering Monday’s 7:30 p.m. game against the Toronto Raptors. Westchester, meanwhile, leads the G League’s East Division with a 12-4 record and eight-game win streak.
