Lazio’s Guendouzi recalls brawl with Paulo Dybala: “He hit me first, I will always fight for my club.”

Lazio midfielder Matteo Guendouzi recalled his brawl with Paulo Dybala from last year during the last Derby della Capitale.

In an interview with Free Foot, Guendouzi went over the episode that took place during Lazio’s defeat to the Giallorossi.

“He hit me first,” said Guendouzi. “He gave me a little poke and since he was winning he started taunting me.”

“I didn’t like it. I grabbed his face with my hands and made a wrong gesture, but he took the opportunity to show off the shin guards from the World Cup victory.”

“It was a derby and it doesn’t matter who you’re facing, I will always fight for my club.”
